Marathon Relay

 

Event date: Sunday 14 July 2024

Start Time: 5:45am with individual marathon start

Start/Finish Line: Fogarty Park, Cairns

Minimum age 2 person relay is 14. Minimum age 4 person relay is 12.

What is included in your entry fee: 

• Race bib (personalised up until 3 June 2024)
• Timing tag
• Finishers medal
• Event Tee-shirt (Refer size guide here.  Subject to availability. Choice of size cannot be guaranteed after midnight Monday 13 May 2024)

Structure: Marathon relay teams may be comprised of 2 or 4 person teams, of any mix of gender.

Laps can be completed by any participant in any order, with team relay exchanges occurring within the team relay changeover area shown on the event precinct map.

The team captain must sign up online, paying the team registration fee and setting up a team name and password to share with team members, who can then enter online using these details. Teams with all runners aged 12-17 must be entered by a parent/guardian using the Non-Participating Team Captain option.

Your team name will appear on every team member's bib.

Cut-off Times: There is an overall cut-off time of 5 hours 45mins.

Categories: There will be no age categories for this event.

Prize Money: There will be no prize money for this event.
